#10 8.56 lbs. from 900 yards!

146 clicks, 18 1/4 MOA, elevation required from my 200 yard zero. .243AI with the 105 gr.A-Max at a chrono-ed 3200 fps MV. First shot was another 10-15 yards farther but I couldn't get a good laser reading. It was down feeding and I couldn't spot the hit but was close enough to make it scurry back to it's hole. It wasn't long before it came back up sitting pretty! There I got 895 at a fence post close so I called it 900 and sent it. I saw the dust fly in it's general area but couldn't claim a hit. Man that's a long walk to verify but it sure put a big smile on my face when I saw it laying there!

Not quite 1000 Bill but I hope to make that Club soon as I spotted some areas and setups to reach it!

A big hearty CONGRATS, MrM. And doesn't it give you a warm fuzzy feeling to nail one at that yardage?
If you've got some 1000+ yard locations scouted, I have no doubt you will be in the 1000 yard club by summer's end. The hard part is ranging them at that distance if the field does not have a nice slope to it.
DANG. I've got to get my 'To Do' list shortened and get out in the fields. Time's a wastin'.

Sweet!!! Awesome shooting, here in Pa the Yotes all but cleaned out our Ghogs the last 10 years or so I have resorted to shooting paper ones as of late haha. I did get permission to do some hunting here locally but its hard to find any shooting out past 500 yards.

To get in the Varmint Hunter's 1000 yard club you need another member there to witness the shot. I have been in the 500 yard club for decades but when I do make that rare 1,000 yard hit on something there's no one around.

You did good.
