No.I have a question for the 10/22 experts.
Have you seen any change of accuracy when using the factory pin vs a polymer pin?
I have a bentz chamber in two 1022's both feed just fine. Accuracy can mean different things to different folks to some it might mean minute of watermelon ,for others it might mean 10x on a target. My very expensive (name withheld to protect the guilty) 10/22 would not feed or extract reliably (or at all with some ammo) with either type of pin.
Problem turned out to be a "Bentz" chamber. Way too tight for semi-auto. I bought a "Sporting" reamer from Brownell's and problem solved. Opened up chamber mouth about .003in. Brass diameter just ahead of the rim can vary between ammo brands. There is no reason for a Match or Bentz chamber in a semi-auto. And the change did not affect accuracy.
If you want a target .22, use a bolt gun.
Yeah, a TINY Bit of Polishing with, JB's slathered, on a Patch, OVER, a Bronze Brush, Fixed the "Grabbie'ness" of, ammo in My Green Mtn Barrel's Chamber, easily, w/ just a few, one way, Strokes and CLEAN,.. Well !I have a bentz chamber in two 1022's both feed just fine. Accuracy can mean different things to different folks to some it might mean minute of watermelon ,for others it might mean 10x on a target.
