10/22 question.

Some years ago I took a 10/22 and put a Titan Competition barrel on, reworked the trigger etc. Made a titanium barrel clamp and put a sharp claw volquartzen extractor and some other parts. My question is : has anyone ever heard of Titan barrels circa 1998 bought from a place in Texas. I was told they were shilens when they were popular. The neat thing is the bentz chamber and bolt face was induction hardened to stop bolt peening. Anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance for any help.
