10/22 Benchrest Gun -- Product Question Re: Barrel -- 22LR

I wanted to know if you guys are pretty satisfied with Kidd 22 lr slip-fit target barrels?

If so, what should I realistically expect from these barrels, in regards to accuracy, assuming the appropriate ammo, conditions, and shooter are all working in harmony?

Where is the best place to purchase a Kidd slip-fit target barrel?

Also, would you strongly suggest I simply opt for a Lilja or Shilen rimfire 22lr and be done with it?

I've got got all 3 and all 3 are good and if you are just comparing barrels I don't know that any of the 3 is better. If you want a "balls to the walls " 10/22 then Kidd is hard to beat . His parts are a notch above everyone else,especially his triggers- you pay for them but no one comes close.

6and7MM, I shoot ABRA benchrest and we've done a lot of extensive testing with barrels. Kidd products are top notch but what we've found with barrels the after market benchrest barrels, Shilen, Dougles have given us the best results. I agree with Les. I have 4 Kidd barrels. And they all shoot damn well. But Joe takes it to another level for shot to shot consistency. I love the gun Joe did for me. And it shoots extremely well. Mine has a Douglas barrel on it. Brad Clodfelter

I need to shoot it at 100yds. I think with good ammo on a good day it will do something in the .2's for 5 shots.
