1-8 twist

Bought 500 87 Grain Berger hunting bullets never took into consideration if a 1-8 twist Brux barrel would work. Any one have any information if these would work or should I trade them off. Box says 1-10 twist or faster Thanks

That will work. It will also work with heavier bullets also.

Thanks for the heads up I also have 107 grain match hunters for Deer but wanted to try a lighter bullet for Varmints, all is not lost as I have a 243 with a 1-10 twist barrel if for some reason they won't get good accuracy in this barrel

FWIW, 1:8 is faster than 1:10. The term 1:8 means a bullet will travel 8 inches before making a complete revolution, so faster twist rate than 1:10

Yep no problem , shoot 105gr hybrids, 108gr bergers and 87gr vmax out of my 1:8 twist

I have shot 105 Berger Hybrids and VLD hunting bullets as well as 68Gr Bergers out of my 8 twist dasher and all will shoot bug holes with the right powder and charge weight.
