1:8 twist .22br powder choice.

I’ve got a .22br with a 1:8 barrel that I had built for shooting 75gr amax. I’ve moved away from the amax and want to use 55gr sbk’s in this rifle. With it being a fast twist barrel would a slower powder work best with the 55’s? I’ve got n133, n135 and varget.
I’m thinking the n133 would be too fast?
Thanks

Not meaning to hi-jack this thread but I live in N.Illinois (alt. 750’) and have a 7.5” twist to shoot the 85.5grn. Powder choices are not a problem. Suggestions? PM me your choice.

I own two .22 BR rifles with 8 twist barrels. I call them .22 Bart and .22 Brux. I have found, after several thousand rounds that the 70 Berger VLD Tangent and 73 Berger Secant, will outshoot the 77 TMK, 80 MK, 80 Bergers, 80 Custom Competition. I have experience with 75 gr bullets, shooting several hundred 75 Partizans, and 200 75 A-Max. I shoot VV N-140 the most with the 70s and 73. My second choice would be Varget. AR-Comp, H-4895 and N-135 are also very accurate in the .22 BR with long bullets. I have shot 32.5gr Varget with 55gr Ballistic Tips and got 3546 fps. I featured that load on one ground squirrel trip.
