1.250' -28'-6mm weight

I was wondering if somebody could tell me the weight of a straight cylinder 1.25" in 6mm caliber with a fininshed length around 28" would be. Thanks in advance for you answer. Tanner

A Rem. 700 action w/bolt & recoil lug weighs about 28-29 ounces,
then your barrell, anywhere from 4 to 7 pounds.
You did not say what contour your barrell is, or what stock you are using or rings & bases or scope.

Gary.

Thank's again guys. I was expecting it to be around 9.5 lbs. was planning to put a Kreiger 4 groove 8 twist on my F-class rifle. Thanks for telling me about Dan's barrel calculator, he has one heck of a webpage. If you can understand all that technical gooblah. One reason I bought a barrel from him.
