April 1,2nd 2006, Chattahoochee Rifle Club will host the 2006 Georgia State Long Range Championship. There will be four rifle catagories, Any Rifle, Palma, Service and F class. CRC runs an outstanding match, and this is a great opportunity to get in A LOT of shooting on Maertens range on Ft. Benning.
I would like to add this caveat. This is a registered match. It is not the place to pop your cherry. If you have never worked the pits before, and don't know the course of fire, this is not going to be the place to start. For anyone who's done pit duty, and knows how to pull and mark, this will be just like every other match, but starting your long range hobby at a registered event is not fair to the other shooters, so I'd ask that if you are new to wait until the next 3x1000 at Ft. Benning.,there are several more)
