Sounds like an interesting rifle . I will have to research the man . I would love a 1903 in 257 Roberts . I built a Mauser 98 in that caliber years ago , I regret giving that one away .Interesting . It just so happens I'm working on a Herters ,new old stock , 1903 Springfield Cherry target stock . The stock was purchased in the mid 60s by my uncle . It's going on a M. Martin 1903 257 Roberts . He was famous for his articles in various gun magazines on lead bullet loads and cartridges .
It sounds like you have a good one . Let me know how it shoots .
