.223 load developement

  1. Problems dialing in 75gn ELD-M in .223

    I have been using N140 behind the 75gn ELD-M and cannot find a reliable load. I have a TL3 action with a pre-fit 26" Criterion .223 match chamber (.090" Free bore) heavy bull barrel with a straight taper suppressed with a 7" Thunderbeast .30 cal. I had 90 rounds of factory Berger 77gn OTM...
  2. Would this work as a good way for load developement

    I have access to 7-8 different powders to use for a .223. Would selecting a safe mid range velocity of say 2875 fps using a 50 grn. bullet of my choosing, letting Quickload pick the powders and load weights for the 7 powders, based on vel. and pressure then shooting 5 shots of each powder load...
