    thanks JD— i did try that and basicly took the whole gun apart to try and fix it. i did find out the ejector is on the magazine with a backup one in the gun.

    ive got two of the carbine models—. the older one fed very reliably then one year it quit and was plagued by jams. have worked on it but cant figure out what to do to fix it. some people have had them for a long time but i wonder if they just wear out? all 22LR models have aluminum...

    that is a cool idea although there is the different size bolthead (bigger than 308?). i imagine it would be close enough to work with 308 base size.

    single stage is no problem, it’s progresives where the danger is and it could be no charge or double charge. if i load pistol on a progressive i look at the charge in every case. but it only takes missing one to cause problems. the charge indicators are the only way to go in my view.

    i had to get some factory loads when i wanted some 7x57 brass in the last year. some of them are available almost as cheap as the brass itself would be and are pretty decent quality. look around at the vendors.

    i would sell that reamer on here and that money added to the sharpening fee would likely be enough to buy a new reamer from manson or jgs. i wouldnt buy a ptg reamer these days.

    is the fuel just for cleaning? way back when —when my expander ball got hard to pull through cases i used the time honored method and stood them in a cake pan with water half way up the case and heated them till the neck got red hot with a propane torch then tipped them over in water to cool...

    one thing this thread has got me thinking is mabie i should give up on my AD120 and V3 trickler. for accuracy loads i throw lite with a redding and let it trickle up. i dont think i could get tha accuracy out of my M5 i get out of the AD. i set mabie grain or so low to trickle up and it takes...
