    well, I had a senior moment and accidentally mixed about 5000 grains of IMR 4198 with about 50000 grains of H4198. after i did it, i mixed the combo together very well. this gives me about 10% IMR 4198 in the H4198/IMR 4198 mix. going to shoot it tomorrow and will see what happens on the loads...

    under an inch at 100 yds? with a 12 twist custom 6BR barrel? that is not the accuracy standard i apply. of course it shoots under an inch at 100 yds. it's not a hunting rifle barrel.

    it shot better, more consistent after an aggressive cleaning. i am going to continue to work with it

    AR-Comp is the first Alliant powder i really like. never did cotton to RL 15 or RL 7. 68 to 80 gr bullets, especially the 80s really love it. very, very close to H4895 in burn rate from my testing, but more consistent precision in my 6BRs.

    thats what i am looking at getting exactly. you don't turn necks with Lapua Brass and that .271 chamber neck, correct?
