    That was great , thanks for sharing . Very unique way to hunt those birds ,really have to put some work into that . I was surprised the rifle barrel on the drilling was a 6.5 , I was guessing a 22caliber . Beautiful country you were hunting .

    I thought would be the case, the wood stock is like that . I could not add enough material to gain anything ,the way it was inletted was just a void for clearance and nothing structural .

    I don't know how much material you have on a synthetic stock but I can say the wood stock has very little that would help by bedding . I no longer have the rifle, but I remember adding wood near the front screw(?) and machining some back out to bed it. It made zero difference in accuracy . Just...

    Most common is FL sizing . Many folks still use neck sizing as part of their routine, they are just not as vocal as the guys trying to look cool denouncing Neck Sizing . A majority of those guys also have no experience with a neck sizer , they just want to fit in.
