Montana EXtreme Product - Gone?

Montana Extreme products out of stock everywhere.. I use the copper killer and its been out of stock for a while. I called them 3-4 weeks ago and was told the chemist had been out… anyone know whats going on?

I got the same response...it seems odd that it has been out of stock as long as it has been. I suspect there is more to this story??

Might have to fall back to the Bore Tech CU+2… Good stuff, non toxic and no smell..
I see a bottle of Bore Tech in the background so I know that you use their products as well… {:~)

I use, Barnes C-10 for Copper ( Soak w/ Wet Patches First ), then Bronze Brush, One more Patch to Dry THEN ,.. BoreTech Eliminator for, Carbon ( Soak Wet, 12-15 Min's ) then Dry, then Oil and a Dry Patch or Two, Done.
I Drink Coffee / Watch the News for, 15 Min's between Solvents. NEVER, leave them In, any Longer !
My Rifles ARE Very accurate and Have "Cold Bore" Precision, after 2 Fouling Shots to, "Dirty up", the Barrel.
I clean about every, 70-80 Shots.

I have some left, but around here the good stuff is nowhere to be found. I use Montana Extreme and Boretech. Have to mail order both.

Just buy the next old bottle of Sweets you run across - it's the "Generac" of bore copper solvents

You bet, and NEVER leave Sweets in your barrel for more than 15 minutes {ammonia based solvent which Montana Extreme is as well} and be sure to lightly oil bore before storing otherwise it may look like you used corrosive ammo in it…
Bore Tech all the way on my bench… CU+2 & C4 along with a bit of their Extreme CLP
Even left over night it does the job without any damage or stink…
The originator of Sweets died a couple of years ago but his daughter has kept the business going… I have a bottle of Sweets & Hoppes Bench Rest No.9 just sitting in the cupboard that has only been used once before reverting back to BT CU+2…

Yes, I will be going back to the C-10.. I am not sure why I switched away from it… I do like the strong stuff..
