Not so Great Britain.

Thank You for your thoughts. This is a good reminder. Take care brother. There's a reason you don't see much on the internet from UK shooting enthusiasts. The sport is really an open secret, many here think gun ownership and shooting doesn't exist. If you're competing over here you have to be very keen as there are lots of obstacles. It's also expensive. I understand why there is a reluctance to make any concessions in the US. It will never end, once you start, until public ownership is removed entirely.
Maybe, and I accentuate maybe, it was in the distant past."Great Britain"![]()

I don't understand, I think there's more to these stories. The British send rifle teams to the US and Canada every year to compete and there is no "retaliation" when they get back to GB. Yes, they take pictures, post them to the internet and everything. Thinking the OP may be BS.

And to be fair look at the decidions the leaders of these organizations have made in the last 6 to 8 years. Scares me today. To be fair, Ruby Ridge and Waco were tragedies mostly due to the decisions of a few non elected people. The shit going on in the UK is a matter of state policy.
Indeed, and precisely the primary reason I left my native Canada forever, became a US citizen to never look back.In all three countries, you have seen a very aggressive agenda in disarming the people. The Liberals want to turn the USA into what is going on in Canada. It is hard to believe how stupid the human race can be.
A Brit, nuff saidI was thinking that the first guy oughta be arrested just for the way he's holding that Wingmaster.
ok, I'll go back in my hole now.
Spot on: "the British send rifle teams"; that means NRA-UK registered, approved, vetted shooters, many with a military or law enforcement background. No relationship with an isolated, lonely amateur holding a shotgun, who is easier to bully, threaten and harass. The Soviet and Chinese too sent rifle teams to competitions all over the world and their policy at home regarding firearm possession was, and probably still is, appalling.I don't understand, I think there's more to these stories. The British send rifle teams to the US and Canada every year to compete and there is no "retaliation" when they get back to GB. Yes, they take pictures, post them to the internet and everything. I think I need to comment. I'm sure a few won't be happy.Isn't this just the British way, when it comes to firearms? This is the same country that only exists because the US of A, a country with a constitution guaranteeing the right to keep and bear arms, intervened in WWII through the lend lease program and ultimately being drawn into the conflict after Pearl Harbor. It's questionable if Britain would exist as it does today if a free USA had not been there.
Not to mention the US intervention in WWI. Britain wanted control of our troops once we landed there. Pershing said not on my watch! Can you believe that?
