This is the solution that I am amazed that SEB doesn’t offer and now doesn’t even give you a cloth bag to carry and protect your rest.
Just add a Harbour Freight 4800 hard case and presto, your rest is safe to travel life’s road of hard knocks and you will no longer be jealous of the cases that Rodzilla has available for their rests…!
Also helps support forum members that create “Niche Market” products that are not usually available anywhere else…

Will the F class feet fit in the case as well?

The case was designed around the Neo X as it comes from SEB to have as much “meat” around it to hold it snug and protect the unit during transport.

That being said, I have heard others say that the FClass feet removed can be stowed away in the center but they usually just put them in a separate bag being that most everyone brings a lot of equipment to the range regardless. Most everyone that purchased one of these have the FClass feet and it hasn’t been an issue.

There is room to put the balance weight (Ratigan style) in so I'd be pretty sure the feet would fit. I make no guarantee

For my FClass feet, I purchased entire replacement bolt assemblies from Ernie Bishop and they’re pretty bulky that way so I keep my FClass feet in a separate bag with some of my other gear I always bring to the range.

That said, I received a photo from someone who purchased the foam and modified it to fit his feet which I’ll share in this reply.

I don’t recommend it much because it affects the structural integrity of the foam and the desired result is to protect the rest and do with a compact case in the process, hence the Apache 4800. But here’s the pic he shared with me for ideas if you choose to modify yours.

Gotcha so it's doable, but definitely isn't ideal. Definitely good information. I might just throw them in my bag that way I can ensure the rest has as much protection as possible!! Thanks flea21!!

Will the F class feet fit in the case as well?

I’ve had the foam and the Harbor Freight case since the first order. It works great.

As far as the F Class Feet, I don’t attach them with the set screw, just screw them in until they bottom out. Transporting the feet, unscrewed, they fit right in the center area of the case. Some shooter friends leave them attached and remove the whole foot unit and put them somewhere else in their kit. Eventually, they’ll loose them or leave them home by mistake.
