Mid Carolina Gun Club 200-100-300 METER state championship

We will be hosting the SC state METER championship in Orangeburg SC on 5-17 and 5-18. This is your ONLY chance to shoot at 300 meters before the Tack Driver in November. If you are planning on attending, please let me know. Who will be the shooter to beat? Anyone have any picks? Will it be a shooter traveling to test his skills at the "Lady in black" in preparation for their attendance at the Tack Driver? Hope to see everyone there ready for some laughs and comradery. Just remember, EVERY SHOT MAKES SOMEONE HAPPY, just hope it's your shot that makes you happy!

Truth is Jim is the man these days all jokes aside!! Jim knows I love to throw digs in on him when I can. All differences aside good shooting Jim.

Thank you for the opportunity and hosting these events. My small group of friends here in NC just started shooting 1000 yard benchrest competitions last year and although we are rookies, love the challenge of competing with the best and have posted some pretty good results at several matches. Unfortunately, just learning of this match today we cant break away from work in time. I will add these dates to next years calendar assuming the match will held around the same time. Also, your Tackdriver 6 was booked up last year before we could enter. Hoping to be able to join you next year for both events. Would you be able to advise soon when registration for the next Tackdriver will open? We will take the day off or stay up all night to register in time for next years matches and have the opportunity to participate...and maybe pickup a piece a wood or two in the process.

Tack Driver 7 registration on Saturday November 1st sometime around noon. I will take the first 140 registrations received for the 2026 event. The competitors at this year's event will have an opportunity to just hand in their deposit at the actual match. I will put the form online under the "live results' feed I will start at the event. For the vfs 1,2 &3 matches see the ibs web site for dates. They do not follow the same dates yearly.
Same with the 600yrd.

The track driver is not an ibs sanctioned match.
However, it is majority ibs shooters that attend.
