1 shot cold bore 650 yards.

Got the 25-06 shooting the 110 Sierra pretty well , and been confirming my dope just shooting 1 shot at different ranges when I get a chance. This plate is 2’x2’ with the yellow painted is 8”x8” at 650 yards.
JBM app called for 10.5 moa so I dialed the 4.5-14 Leupold to 10.5 and sent 1 round from cold bore ,, hit 4” right pretty close elevation. Targets in far back right edge of hay field 650 yards,
That was my first rifle I killed my first 100 deer with way back when,, I just had it rebarreled and can’t wait for deer season

Driving out 15 minutes just to fire one cold bore, is one of my practices
Good for you for practicing that discipline, it's more important to me than small groups.

Being primarily a varmint / predator hunter, the clean and cold bore shots are my "money shots". I test and I verify them constantly at the range each practice session. It took some research, experimentation, and enhancements to arrive at this stability condition, but I finally got there.

Nice shooting!!! I too enjoy my custom built 25-06!!!!! Springfield 03A3 action, 26", 1:10 twist, Douglas #5-1/2 medium varmint contour, with Custom walnut thumbhole stock with rose wood forearm cap and accent stripes!!! Mounted a Leupold 6.5-20x44 gold ring target (with turrent caps) with duplex reticles!!!!! I use the Sierra 117 grain SBT Gamekings!!! Have taken whitetail clear out to 574yds (5x5 heart shot)!! Wileys out to 700!!!! IT'S HARD TO BEAT AN ACCURATE 25-06!!!! Even taking PDs at 500 to 600 yards!!!!!!!!!!

It’s nice when a plan works out.
Practice pays off.
Looks like your shooting bench is rock solid. :)
Yea a 5 or 10 shot group doesn’t mean much when it comes to hunting. COLD bore shot is all that matters.
25-06 is a great killing caliber.

There was a sidewalk around Grannie and Grandpas house that had settled and when they passed and Momma moved back in she had them dug up and repoured , I made 3 bench tops from 1 of them , this is one outside my basement/reload room door,

Sweet rifle Eric, wish I had gotten that green stock from Alex Wheeler. Mine is kinda blah in a grey/ burgundy. Your green is just like my 6br/20 Dasher/17ppc. Will definitely have to paint it, they track beautifully though.
