ok thanksThey are getting good reviews from airgunners.
My questions were to find out how current users think it is. I currently use the SV ED 10-50 and like it very much. also, I rarely hear complaints on Sightron scopes and in fact can't think of any.I've always noticed with any equipment, if it isn't good users let it known. I've even seen how thing that are good, there always those that whine about something, even if the whining is meaningless! Things like, I wish it had more power, the finish is not what I expected, it's great glass but wish it was smaller, the zoom ring turns farther than I like.
I mean the fact is when something is works as it should, most don't take time to post it works, but everyone post when it doesn't. The fact there isn't any whining about this scope I would think it is a very good choice. I have had several Sightron scopes, every one 6-24x, 8-32x, 10-50x, 42x, and never one problem with any, and all with glass as good as any scope costing 100's more.
I would have no issue going with this scope if it fit the purpose I was going to use it for.
Thanks Paul, that is what I was after in the way of user information. which reticle do you have? my concern is how big the dot is in comparison to the SVED to give you an idea why I am asking about the dot size I went from a 1/16 dot to the .10 dot on the SV though still small it is way bigger than the 1/16 I am used to using.I have this scope, also have 3 sv Ed 10-50. Haven’t used the 10-60 a lot , best comparison I can give you, at 100 yards it appears to be a little sharper and the 60 seems to make a difference when seeing the target dot, I need that at my age, only negative is the eye box is a little more tighter, but not terrible, am impressed with the clarity And sharpness of it. Hope this helps
Thanks Paul, that was what I wanted to know if the dot was bigger than the SVMOA-2 reticle, and yes it is a little larger than the SVED, If you think the 1/16 dot was too large, then this would be too large for you. I’m shooting 22 rimfire benchrest, it works fine for me, mostly 100 yards
compared to the SVED the glass looks to be equal, but only in actual use will I know for sure.I have one and it is excellent. Great clarity and perfect tracking. I have multiple high end scopes and this is my go to for rimfire.
You're welcome. only thing that could make this a better scope is if they offered a FCH 1/16 dotThanks for the update Lee!! Been looking at these myself
I have one on my FTR gun and I like it very much. I think it is the best in its price range. However it is not as good as a March 10-60 high master, or the smitt and bender. Can anybody provide some user information. as to how it is working for them. how is the floating dot size? looking at this scope for a RFBR

I have the S3....too poor for the S6. The S3 is very clear and I like it so far.@cavedweller60 might have input
How does it do on higher magnifcation, say 30+ in heavy mirage? I have to back my Siii back below 20 to be useful when mirage is heavy.I have one on my FTR gun and I like it very much. I think it is the best in its price range. However it is not as good as a March 10-60 high master, or the smitt and bender.
