Best Available 22-250 Brass?

Mine is a new Tikka TX3lite it the fast twist 1 in 8" .22-250

Unsure if Tikka factory barrels are known for especially tight chambers or not?

I just measured neck thickness on Winchester, Lapua and Sig 22-250 brass that I have in my stash. All are new, unfired and unsized fresh out of the bag/box and all measured .014" thick. Lapua shown in the picture. Hope this helps.

Seems like, what ever brand you can find presently of 22-250 would be the best. They all work fine.
I agree with this. I assume your 22 250 is a hunting rifle. With proper brass preparation and proper sizing, I never had a problem getting the great 22 250 to perform in the sub to 1/2 moa level in my Remington 700 Varmint (heavy barrel - bedded stock) with highly tuned reloads.

If possible, however, I would avoid Remington brass due to the inconsistency I have experienced in several different lots. By inconsistency, I mean presumably metallurgical properties creating a wide variance in sizing measurements. But even with these cases, I was able to obtain adequate varmint hunting accuracy.

I had my best results with Winchester brass but that was some time ago. Not sure how consistent it is these days since everything seems to be changing for the worse. I wouldn't hesitate to use either Hornady or Starline either based on my recent experience with other calibers using these brands of cases.

In this brave new world, one needs to be adaptable to change and overcome it.

I'm shooting a wide variety of brass in my Tikka 22-250. I only use it for night time coyote hunting, so not a competition rig. I haven't had problems with any brand, so far. Some of the best looking brass I've used is made by SIG. Lately, I've seen several local stores with supplies of Hornady 22-250 brass.

Its exactly what I would do. Buy 100 PCS and it will last the life of the barrel, it you dont turn send it to me ill turn it for you.
D.J's brass service will to i believe, you won't be sorry with the Lapua.
If I remember correctly a saami chamber is .255 neck and a unturned loaded round is .2535-.254
Yeah - that is tight...

The Sig brass is good stuff. Very good, in my experience, second only to Lapua.
I received 100 pc of new Sig brass in a package deal on a unused set of Redding Precision Hunter 22-250 dies. Will start reloading next week.

Still have the 100 Lapua on backorder, I will have them ship when I'm notified.

If you can find Lapua its hands down the best but it will need neck turned in a saami chamber which I do for my nephew's I load for. Its to tight for my liking.
I have ran it in 2 factory savage rifles. Never measured the clearance but never had a problem with with those 2 rifles either
