Straight 6 BR and H4895

Good day gentlemen,
Is there an opportunity to use H4895 in a Straight 6 BR or should we just stick with old fashion Varget. Any thoughts or guidance. I did notice the last lot sold of the H4895 was slower and had to add about .3 grains to match velocity. This could be a very good advantage will fill ratio.

some people have used H4895 successfully with 105 class bullets, often with CCI BR primers- check out the cartridge guide here. to bad you dont live closer as i have a few pounds id like to sell you.

As to the Lot to Lot difference in H 4895 ?
I shot Palma for years with Varget and found the same thing ?

Still using it in my Dashers and soon a New BR and finding Lot to Lot differences.

H4895 has always done better for me in the 6br than varget ever has. IMR 4064 is worth a look as well, it might surprise you how it does.

I see a lot of shooters using 107 SMK’s. That seems to be a forgotten bullet to me. My intentions were to make a 103 VT sail and have great barrel life. The BRA barrels seem short lived. It seems I started with the BR and went to BRA and now exploring the BR again but never used the H4895 in them.
