Pistols are fun too
9mm load= 5.0 WSF with a quality 124 grain target bullet.

Yup this right here..except im using the Montana Gold bullet.9mm load= 5.0 WSF with a quality 124 grain target bullet.
As far as a replacement for Bullseye, HP38/Win 231 is great, and I think maybe a little cleaner. My wife and I shoot a lot of 9mm. She has a Sig P365 and they say 115 grain only so we load a 115 grain plated round nose with 5.0 grains of Bullseye. This roughly 10% over the maximum in the Hornady manual (which is for jacketed bullets) and just slightly under the max from the Alliant Reloading web site. I load them on a progressive press and the next step down on the powder bushing drops 4.5 IIRC which is not enough to reliably cycle her P365. It's a snappy load but shoots good and is cheap.
When this BE is gone I'll look for a suitable replacement.
edit to add; Friday I did see 8 lbs. of Bullseye on the shelf for 317.99. Didn't get it but may go back. Is there a better choice?
BE-86 too for the same price.
I do so love reloading! But better to use the time reloading for the 44s, the 357s and the rifles.Yup. It’s become better to just buy loaded ammo for 9mm, since the price came down. That would save hours of work.
That’s good to know, thank you. I’m definitely decided to buy one just gotta decide for sure which one.For you 10mm guys:

1800 rounds......your an animal!!!!!LOLI loaded 1800 rounds with W231. After testing, I settled on 4.0 grains with a 124 jacketed bullet. All my little guns cycled it well and it left a fair safety margin under max.
Tomorrow I’ll be testing CFEpistol loads.
“That load I listed at today's prices is 21.8 cents per round with my brass. Or at my favorite shop I can buy equivalent Buffalo Cartridge Company ammo with new brass for 23.9 cents per round.”

That’s dedication or glutton for punishment I think lol1800 rounds......your an animal!!!!!LOL
I purchased a Hornaday LNL and all the 3D printed automation to go with it to do that kind of volume. I am not set up yet. But dang good job Bro!!!I loaded 1800 rounds with W231. Hello bozo699 , I just dug in my very small closet to verify but gave up. But yes I think its the ap press. I wish to set up a high volume system for Pistol loading. I dont shoot competition. But reaching out to distance with a hand gun interest me. Its my cross to carry.....LOLThe lnl ap press?

Hello MrK , my 43X is near me all day I went with Trijicon (orange) night sights and Shield 15rnd. Mag. I needed I can put in my pocket and run. But 9mm is not my personal best choice for personal defense. The 43X is very easy to hide with little clothing here in Fla. When the weather cools down I much prefer my 357sig. JMOI have not been shooting 9mm since I brought my Kahr CM9 to our house in NH and left it there. I recently bought a Glock 43X and realized I only had about 200 rds of 9mm ammo left, most of it being FMJ. I did have a gallon baggie of 9mm brass and picked up 1000 124 gn JHP blems from American Reloading. I have never loaded 9mm before so I grabbed a Lee die off of Amazon and the local Academy had primers for $8/ 100. I had a red 3lb can of Red Dot that had about 2 lbs left. I've had that powder for about 40 years but its probably 20 years older than that. I also had 300 115 grain FMJs I picked up somewhere years ago. I settled in on 5.5 gn RedDot for both loads. Not quite 10 cents a round but I am right at about 22 cents if you ignore the cost of the die and the powder/ brass I already had. Took me about a week to load all 1300 rounds on my single stage but I have been getting range time a couple times a week with the Glock. 5.5 gn RedDot gets me about 1075 fps with the 124s.
There no Dillon but once you get the bugs worked out you can crank out some good ammo on it. I have one setup for 44 mag most of the time.Hello bozo699 , I just dug in my very small closet to verify but gave up. But yes I think its the ap press. I wanted the blue press but was just out of the budget. I like Dillon stuff. There no Dillon but once you get the bugs worked out you can crank out some good ammo on it. I have one setup for 44 mag most of the time.
