LNL AP Wilson die bottoming out

I should have been more clear. The problem is that the die body is too short and I’m running out of threads. It doesn’t touch the shell holder/plate when screwed in completely.
That’s why I thought may be a different die but I don’t know which one may work.
I noticed with there bushings you lose quite a bit, I may have a fix I’ll look at my press tonight.

The die goes down into the slot that is cutout. The part you have marked shouldn't contact the die at all.
I think it does but you may be correct, I only load pistol ammo on mine and don’t have the op’s problem. I didn’t remember the cutout for the case being as big as the die. If you’re correct it would even be more difficult to do. I’ll look tonight when I get home.

Praveen,
I used a Redding die and was able to bump the shoulder on a piece of Dasher brass. I believe I could have sized it more but didn’t want to take my 44 mag die out. I pushed the shoulder back .0025 I believe if you need to you can remove several thousandths off your lock n load bushing and that should get you there, and you won’t have to grind on your $150 die or your $48 shell plate, just a $10 bushing. Best of luck
Wayne

Interesting... thanks Wayne ! Yeah I can remove from the bushing. That's a cheap piece to experiment with. I was also thinking I'll try a Forster die. I have a few of those for other cartridges so I can atleast check if they have a longer body than Wilson's.

I have some Wilson dies but not in dasher or brx but I can measure the thread to bottom of die on my Redding for ya to see if I have more than you do.
