Huge shout out to @Jim Nicolas for the development and creation of this 3D printed stock. We have been talking about this for a few years and its finally here. I am so happy to be the first customer of what will most certianly be a bunch.

This stock is unique all the way around. From the ultra low profile, to the unvelieveble low weight.

Today was my first day at the range and I couldn't be happier.

The build is:
BAT B multiflat in RB, LP, DE (from @Chris Mackey )
@LONGRIFLES chambered Bartlein barrel 1:17twist
Jewel trigger
PMA tuner
Valdada 36x
3D printed stock from @Jim Nicolas
Custom hydrodipping from Liquid Concepts

Shooting a 108 Cline at 3050 after only 65 rounds down the barrel shows promise.

Wes,
As my first customer I'm so glad the stock is working well for you, and please keep me informed on your progress. As you know it has taken a couple years to get the design finalized, and to get my shop up and running. Looking forward to shooting Arlington Sportsman matches and the up coming VFS nationals with you.
Many Thanks!!!
Jim Nicolas

Very interesting.... With stocks being so hard to get nowadays. I'd like to know more about construction. Strength addition .....?
Great Wrap btw !
Bring it to the tack driver i want to see it.

The stocks are very low profile and they do meet the NBRSA group and VFS shooting requirements, and I'll be working on Hunter class stock as soon as the rules change to allow for flat bottom stocks. Currently I'm offering a tall and low profile heavy varmint, and the light varmint in low profiles only.
The stocks are made of a high tempature, engineering grade, carbon fiber material that is very light weight and very stiff. Each stock is 3D printed to fit the desired action, and no additional machining is needed before the action is bonded in which I do here. The weight of the stocks can be tailored by adjusting 3D printing parameters such as percent infill and many others. More weight increases stiffness like any stock, but I have found a material that makes really light weight stocks possible such as the 17.9oz stock shown in the right. I would recomend making the stock 20 - 21oz painted as this makes a great quality stock. The Heavy Varmint tall shown in primer (2nd from right) will be 42 oz and it feels stiff like cement :) . We have added vibration absorption material internaly to dampen higher order vibration. This along with tall front rails and the very low profile make for improved tracking in the bags.
Thanks for your interest.
Jim Nicolas

The weight savings for this stock in HTR vs. my McMillan for example is more than 1/2 lb. Does this mean we don’t need to increase the weight limit for HTR class?

Love the hydrodip job by the way

@Jim Nicolas When you say the actions are bonded in, that sounds more permanent than a bedding job with release agent where the barreled action can be removed easily. Tell us more about the bonding.

Yeah the actions are bonded in and can be removed using heat. It is a little more difficult because more adhesive is used while bonding the action. I have been reusing my BAT actions throughout the stock's development.
