3030FPS. 28" barrel.

There's more room in the 6gt... 3100-3150 should be easy to hit.

Many years ago I used to shoot a 6xc which shot like that. Also used 105 bergers. A couple years ago I tried some Barts which were even more accurate.

How is the barrel doing? From the scorecard date it looks like this was a year ago. Is the barrel life as good as predicted?

I don't shoot it enough to tell you. I did a quick load dev, shot that match, and then played with it some more... It's mainly a safe queen.

It's a BAT M. They're among the best of the best. However, it's a little bit for a small 6mm.

I keep thinking about doing a 6GT, and if Lapua would flood the market with their GT brass, that might be enough to tip me over the edge. I keep looking at all the Dashers, 6x47Ls, and 6XCs in the safes, and then go looking for GT dies & brass online...and then back-off from building one - for now.

I had no issue finding brass and dies for the 6GT. It is more of a struggle to find primers, powder, and projectiles at a reasonable cost.

I'm thinking this could be a good rebarrel candidate for a .308 Tikka. Accurate, low recoil and feeds from a .308 magazine with decent barrel life...
