NeoX Carry Case

I have a NeoX coming to me real soon. I was wondering what folks are using to carry and protect this rest. I'd like to buy a hard case for it.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

My Neo-X came packed in a very nice "travel case". Appears to be Cordura and it's made to hold the rest along with the tool kit, joystick, and a couple other items inside.
I think you will like it. I believe it could even travel as a carry-on on a flight.
EDIT
I’m told the case is no longer included.

Seb made a post/update last year that the carry case is no longer included.

Watching this thread for options.

I have my eye on the Pelican Air 1507 whenever mine shows up.

Local shooter here just received a NEO-X and bought this hard case. It seems to fit nicely:

I have a Raptor and waiting on the X but did use a Carhartt tool case to carry the Raptor for a while, now have a Pelican case for it.
EDIT: I think this is the one I used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014TDFSMI?ref=emc_s_m_5_i_n
When I received my Rodzilla, it came in a case. As for a case, this one might fit the bill

Would this one from Harbor Freight work?

Or slightly Larger:

I can't see/access your provided links for I don't know why.
Folded / in storage mode the Neo-X is approx. 6" thick x 14" wide x 10.5" tall.

I found this case: Ant Mag Hard Case at Amazon. which let me utilize the nice molded styrofoam lower filler that the Neo-X was shipped in. With some minor mods the fit is really good.
This other case on Amazon should work as well. The inside dimensions are virtually identical:
AxiGear 19 x 14 x 8in . Edit update: Use this case! See my explanation at end of this post.

There is about 1/4" to spare on each side length-wise but I had to shave 1/4" off the "front" side off the styrofoam filler on my bandsaw to match the inside width of the case.

Then I beveled the bottom corners off the long sides of the filler so that it would fit all the way down in the case before it hit the radius in the bottom of the case walls.
To get the lid to close you will have to either remove the target side coarse elevation knob (which you would probably never miss) or turn at least .400" off the end of the knob like I did.

For the unit to fit in the styrofoam lower you will need to retract the two rear foot screws flush with the legs or quickly remove them and store off to the side like I did. The front screw can remain on the unit as long as it is not protruding more than 1".

With this slightly wider case I am able to clip-on and store the joystick with the long extension on it. I cut-out some notches to clear the joystick knobs.
It's not totally plug & play. But with just a little effort this can be a great Neo-X hard case for under 75 bucks. If you don't want to mess with the styrofoam filler. You can also customize it with the Pick N'Pluck foam that the cases come with and possibly not need to remove/modify the elevation knob. I think this case in better suited for the Neo-X than all of the previously mentioned smaller hard cases.

EDIT UPDATE: I got the AxiGear 19 x 14 x 8in case. USE THIS CASE! It's just a hair taller & has just a bit more headroom in the lid than the Ant Mag to clear the elevation knob without having to remove/modify it. Width & length are about the same. Also it comes with 3 layers of the Pluck N'Pick foam instead two thicker layers with the Ant Mag if your wish to customize your own cavities.
Also I shifted the styrofoam filler to left side of the case. Now I have an approx. 3/4" wide cavity on the right side for my benchrest pads & misc. storage.

any chance any of you don’t use the soft case that used to be provided?

up on Canada we did not get many and there are none for sale

only going to use the new neo-X for short and mid range benchrest and need something lighter to carry the rest from the car to the bench

just asking if any out there in minty condition
‘thanks Jefferson

stocked about getting my rest next week after a long wait should be great as all seb products are

i checked with Ernie and nine available

The 4800 works perfect as far as size goes but the dang thing is heavier than the rest I do believe. I think I’d rather have a bag with zip top if I can find the right size.

Hello shooting family,

I received my Neo X and this is the carrying case I got. The only thing I need to find is a thin piece of foam for the top, it fits perfectly and it is not that heavy.

Thank you

Can you take a picture from the side with the rest in the case and the lid open? I'm wondering how high the elevation knob sticks up above the edge of the bottom part of the case?
