I'm about out of sorted primers
Gonna take a brick, and an empty tray.
Take empty tray, transfer each 100 tray to empty.
(avg for 100 primers)
Repeat for each tray.
Now have avg for brick and can search individual primers for outliers.

I've heard of folks weighing primers, but haven't made that leap yet. What sort of data have you collected that supports the efficacy? Is it worth it?

I sort primers because I want to but just for thought. Using the gram mode, consider .007 g equals .10 gr ( about 6 kernels of Varget)
In a batch of primers I get a spread of about .007 gram

When you weigh primers how do you know where the weight is?? Could be in the cup, Could be in priming compound??

Most fall in 3.60 - 3.73...... 98%
Then ive had 3.3, - 3.5, & 3.8, 3.9

I do not have a clue where the weight difference is from..... Not important, they get culled

My cat was in a trance watching my Girard annealer work. I inadvertantly had a primed case in the machine. When the primer cooked off, Tigger about lost his s--t. Didn't see him for a couple of hours.

Strange but my "barn cats" turned house cats 8 yrs ago don't get on tables, cabinets, nor my reloading bench. They are scared of all my strange toys.
I can shut a drawer too loud and they are getting out of town fast !
