Finished up these two today. They are basically twins. Bat B dual ports, one is CM, one SS. Both got the actions and ignitions tuned, fitted a shroud to the one with the roller cp. Both Have Bartlien barrels in 6BRA#1 .268. Both have tuned Bix n Andys with carbide bearings. Both are glued and screwed into laminate LBR 2.0 stocks. The green one happens to be mine.

beautiful work.

OMG... those are a beautiful pair. You are the man Mr. Wheeler! I have a sneaky suspicion those 103 RHAW's you have been making may do the trick. Super excited Alex and thanks for all of your work and dedication to this fine sport. Now, let's make em spin..

Why did you opt for the chrome moly action?
Thats kind of a long story. I have measured a lot of actions for straightness. I found the cm to stay straighter through the manufacturing process. I have done some pressure testing and didnt see much there. The surface finish or smoothness seems better with cm. However since Bat has implemented a new process, I dont see much difference in any of that. But I tend to stick with it.

I'm curious how much difference you see on average and your process to verify. Thanks Alex!
