Not an M1 Garand, Scott

An experimental gun with experimental ammunition

Well, only Scott of Kentucky Ballistics has earned the right to blow up an M1 Garand, I suppose, … maybe.

But this one hurts to watch. It’s the milled trigger guard version. I feel like this is the same as seeing if flags can soak up floor puddles around public toilets.

What’s done is done. The bolt did not hit the dummy, and dropped straight down, no part did with any significance, or possibly even at all. The round generated 290,000 psi and blew the wood into toothpicks.

What a gun! Although I feel like it’s the 1970’s and I just watched white Challengers get totaled to film a scene.

That video did kind of hurt in a way, didn't it? What's next, a first generation single action Army? I hope not......

yes to me it hurts a little when any quality firearm gets blown up- especially intentionally.
But if it helps any- I have never been to Anniston cmp —they have a tall stick figure made of garand barreled actions welded together ive seen pics of. i think many garands have hit the scrap bin.

Watch closely and you will see that the blown up *Challenger* at the end of Vanishing Point was a Camaro.

He only makes money off of this kind of crap is if you watch it. JUST SAY NO. I looked at his you tube site and I looked like a really nice Garand, you would have thought he could have blown up a beater. I was careful not to open and view any of his content.

I know how you feel. At least he didn’t sporterize it!

I’ll admit I’ve learned some things about gun design and how they each have handled over pressure, on his nickel.

It’s rather academic to me because I don’t design or manufacture guns, but I’d bet our action and barrel makers watch closely.

Scott, I don’t like egg plant, either ;).
