Off topic Dogs Let's see your pets

Wanted to revive this thread. Yesterday we lost the best and sweetest dog that my wife and I have ever had. She didn't care much for gunfire and would lay on top of her kennel in the truck while I was shooting, but going to the range with me was one of her favorite things.
That sucks, I'm sorry to hear this. Dogs deserve more time on earth, more deserving than we are that's for sure. I'm going to be a wreck when the day comes.

This is my werewolf guard dog in her prime 16 tree squirrels found out the hard way she could clear a 6' fence, She would sit between trees and wait for them to jump across from sitting 6 feet was a breeze the fur spot in the pic is one of her prizes, last one was when she was 9. Pic above about 2 years ago now at 11 she sleeps most of the time her body is giving up and looks so sad, Not quite ready to throw in the towel but not long

Well unfortunately we had to lay to rest one of Yorkies I gave my mom.
He was only 3 years old and he was the runt of the litter.
He lost control of his back legs.. bulging disk.
Today the vet said he had brain bleeding. One pupil was dilated and the other wasn't.

While I enjoy long range shooting about 5 years I got this Lab . If it flys he will retrieve . House pet , companion , hunting partner only time we are separated is my range time. And I hate to say the pro trainer that worked with this dog offer him a place on her truck for Field Trials . I thought long and hard and refused the offer as it was very hard training for 6 months without him .God gave me a good wife ,a good dog and a roof over my head and my belly full of food . I can't ask for any more.View attachment 1243337View attachment 1243339View attachment 1243340View attachment 1243341

Wow that sucks. Man it hurts when they go just when you get attached. Condolences.
