Bobcat pose

The pic in your first post is awesome, if that really is a mount, you need to find that Taxidermist. Who ever done that is a world class taxidermist. Details in the eyes and ears on a cat make all of the difference in the mount. The difference between a stuffed bobcat and a true trophy mount. Great mounts are not cheap and cheap mounts are not good ! Good luck on that big cat mount.

I found the pic just by a search. To me the detail in a mount matters too. I think the cats are beautiful animals and i hope mine come out good. The first one i got went to a place that does a lot of exotic animals. This one from sunday went to another place. We will see what happens.

I got my first bobcat trapping here in MN last night, about 35#. I've always wanted a bobcat jumping up in the air just touching a black squirrel. A freeze frame of a daily occurrence in both animals lives. I have lots of black colored gray squirrels in my deer woods. Now I just need a bag of corn and some free time!

I went out again today, off to my left here comes another cat. I started recording on my phone. He stared at me hard but wanted that caller bad. After about 2 minutes i realized i did not hit the record button on my phone. He turned facing away and i hit record. This was him before he walked away. I let it go. Im not going to kill just to leave it and having 2 at the taxidermy is adding up. It was beautiful watching its movements.

I have always wanted a mount of a bobcat chasing a snowshoe hare. The hare in white. I saw one up in Maine really cool mount. Expensive though the rabbit alone is $900.

I dont know what in the air but today i went out and called in 2 more Bobcats. I had no plans to take eather one. 2nd one creeped infront of my niece that was with me about 7 feet in front of her. She was not looking, then she saw it after it smelled and saw her and was slowly creeping away. The look on her face was priceless. I have only been putting effort in calling for the last 2 years and have never seen this many cats. This makes 7 in 1 years time and 4 in just the last 3 weeks

Bobcats occasionally attack turkey hunters. Never heard of it with bobcat hunters, probably because bobcat hunters shoot them.

I keep a close eye on them as they walk away just to see their movements. Told me niece next time dont look away. Keep eye on them just in case. Shoot if needed. I almost started laughing at her face.

Back in march i got my first bobcat. I took it to a taxidermy and am still waiting on it to be Finnish. I was told about a year turnaround. It was not a big one but i was happy. Today i was out calling coyotes, saw a bit of a shadow move in a wash bottom. I could not see through the brush good to see what it was. I did not want to move much and scare it away. I was able to lean to my right enogh to get a small window through a bush and stare right at a cat staring back at me. It was sitting there assessing the situation and me. It took me about 4 min to get a clear enough window and i took the shot. I got another ! She is way bigger than my other. Now i need to decide how i want this mounted. Im not into ones on tree branches. Ill attach a pic of how i requested my other one to look. Does anyone on here have one mounted and how did you have it done? Just looking for ideas. Thank
I have one mounted just like your picture. It's a very natural position. I also have one laying on a branch with one front leg hanging down. I'm not a fan of open mouth cats.

So back in December got back the 2nd bobcat i got. It took the place 12 months to finnish. To say the least i was pissed at how it turned out. I paid the gentleman and went on my way. Yesterday got the call from a different place that my first cat was done. Damn what a different. II took25 months for this one but guy did a very good job. Picture does not do justice
