RimX receiver

I've owned a B14-R, CZ457, v22 gen 2 and my Rimx made me sell them all. They're freaking amazing and I'm sure you'll love it. I haven't found a better magazine or feeding system so far and it shoots smooth and luscious every time.
Here's mine in action
I agree the magazine is the best, the new vudoo mags looks like it will be a game changer for them and eliminate any issues and easier to set up then the rimx mag (not like it’s difficult) just easier for the new vudoo.

Agreed. I use feeler gauges so all my RimX mags are the same timing. Seems to help. I also have to ad a piece of tape to mine because I have a weird setup with my stock that's pretty unique to me and the Hawkins bottom metal. But in my MPA BA it was flawless every time.

I really like the look of that Rim-X. I was in the shop yesterday looking for a CZ, but perhaps I should save my money and go straight to the Rim-X. If they would have had the CZ in a Manners yesterday, I would have bought it.

The CZ is my second favorite, super reliable and tons of aftermarket stuff out there. Just not the best if you're using as a trainer since the mags are tiny. Otherwise it's an amazing gun and I get beat by them all the time. Two different price points is all.

Late last summer I built a new rifle on a RimX action, with Shilen "ratchet" barrel, Jewell trigger and KRG "Bravo" chassis. I did all the work myself (first RF I ever chambered). It is amazing! It took some adjustment to get the mags right, but ultimately they all feed flawlessly. The action is truly a pleasure to operate.

I really like mine. I have two barrels for it. A PVA fast twist and a Proof CF. Both of them are hammers!!! I'm looking for another action so that I can leave them set up for either plinking/hunting or as a Competition rig.

At the moment, I am just looking for something to plink with and get trigger time with. I used to do a lot of PRS and that style shooting, but life constraints won't permit that anymore, so not a serious trainer. Most competitive shooting I'll be doing in the near-term is some F-class once we move across the state.

Just remember if you get a Rim-X action.. shooting F-Class, you can not load the mag with five or ten rounds. you have to single feed each round. and the RimX is designed somewhat i guess like a control feed bolt and must pick the round up from the mag.. pulling that mag and putting it back in for each shot is going to get old quick

if you want to shoot Smallbore F-Class, i can put you into a race car that will win.. won't have to fool around with a VW when i can put you in a Porsche

You preferred your cz to the vudoo?

I do agree though, for a factory gun those cz’s are incredible!

I’ve owned 2 vudoo’s, a rimx and a deuce. All three actions are great to be honest. All have a different feel. I have the most experience with vudoo’s as I have 25,000 rounds through them, the deuce has 5000 rounds roughly now and the rimx is only at about 800 after tonight

Yeah honestly I did. It was a 457 and was just a dream to shoot. I liked the Vudoo but just found myself fighting it for some reason. The RimX has just been a dream. Honestly I just think we're so lucky right now as rimfire shooters because none of these actions suck and are so much better than anything we had when I was in the gun business back in the 90's.

When you say fighting it, how so?
