Thanks ,I shoot them in my 26 inch 284 and they shoot very very well just touching..
1 too 2 thousandths in..
Sorted in 0.2gr increments as there is some variations..
No point sorting the oal's as there basically all the same length..
I did not long back use up the last of the B to O lot that was weight sorted aswell..
I'll be very surprised if you don't find them very accurate.
I found they liked that in my saum too but push them fast and they will/can blow up..
I run them at 2800fps ish on 54grs of N160
Keep you offer in mind.I shot them for a while at around 20k off. They shot extremely well for me and I shot my first clean 1k target with them. However, as soon as I started getting alligator hide in the barrel, they started blowing up on me. I know others have had the same issues. Another thing is they would not stabilize in a 1:9 for me at sea level. The 1:8.5 did the trick but the higher rpms also stressed the jackets more.
I have 900 from the same lot of 180 ELDMs I'll make you a deal on if you want them.
Order now ! Lists are long on wait time ?My 284 has done 2350 shots..
1500 probaly fired in my 1000yds snapshooting COF's..
The rest hunting,plinking and testing..!!
It's been a great barrel (Bartlein)
Mine is a 1 in 9 throated for 180gr hybrids.
I was arranging too get a new barrel put on back in January and I equalled then beat my PB in the same morning so I put it off..
A few Sundays ago I was 2 points shy of my PB.
Using it this Sunday at 600yds..
Got another year out of it lol..
I'll look into a new barrel in the new year now.
Your lucky 4-5It's a bartlein sako varmint profile I think..
My Smith had 2 in at the time in the same profile in a 1 in 8.25 twist..
He said he doesn't do many that profile..
Will he still have one..?
Hopefully..!!
It's lasted me 4 too 5 years
Maybe the plastic tip was melting.I used to shoot them in a .284 and a saum. The .284’s never blew one up. The saums sure did. With the bullet blight in full effect, I’d have zero reservations about loading them for 600 yards. I’ve seen them stay in the X ring for a guy’s entire match at 600, surprising the excellent shooter who did it.
At 1,000, they aren’t the strongest choice. I do not have any explanation for why their performance seemed great at 600, but underwhelming at 1,000, but it’s been a while since I used them.

I've run the 150 & 162gr in numerous 7mm rifles. They seem to like a jump between 0.030-0.040" for me.
I was teasing about the tips melting. Especially after Hornady did that whole marketing campaign on switching to different tips for their ELD line.I have bitten pretty hard on the allure or lure of the unmeltable aluminum tipped bullets, but more for their claimed BC. I keep buying more, so at a gut level, I cannot deny a perceived advantage, but I have wondered though why my agg’s aren’t markedly improved with them, relative to their competitors’ bullets, as others noted, in most matches, and a very astute individual mentioned to me that it may have to do with their center of pressure. It was a passing suggestion to look into without further elaboration.
