Looking for recommendations for a good gunsmith that works or specialized in cz 457s. Wanting to have a barrel chambered and fitted to my action. Any help would be great also what barrel blank do some of you recommend. Thanks

I don't know other than what I forwarded to you. He has built custom triggers for the CZs and he has the few that I made in the old days. He is a very honest and gifted CZ rimfire smith.

Put a barrel on a 457 for me. I asked for and received a glue in, an old Anschutz barrel cut at the chamber end and shortened a couple of inches. Shoots .2s. with good CX. He has built several various rifles for me and all have been very satisfactory.

i barrel several a year. word to the wise do not buy a prefit for your CZ. The headspace on Cz rifles can be all over the place. At times the feed ramp needs machined a bit so proper headspace can be achieved. Do it properly and save yourself some frustration

What kinda money does a barrel job cost.

Anyone ever used Joe Chacon in Texas just talk to him. Seems vary knowledgeable

S&S precision in Denton Texas has done an awesome job for me and I know of three or four other people they've done barrels for two that have had excellent success

He just finished putting a 10/22 together for me on a tactical innovations receiver with a Mueller barrel. I should have it next week. I can let you know if that's something you're interested in.
