Cz 457 lilja barrel info

Thinking really hard on ordering one of lilja barrels for my 457 varmint mtr. Anyone running one on there cz that can give me a review on one thanks.
 
There's a guy on YouTube, I think the channel is called pursuit of accuracy who runs one and seems to have good results with it. Also interested in hearing more feedback.
 
I know of 2 people useing a lilja on 457s they claim they shot better than their factory barrels. But they do not shoot as good as my factory cz 457 mtr barrel. From 50 yards to 150 yards. One is a prefit with shims for headspace the other is glued in. Also know of a guy with a keystone barrel fitted to his action and glued in it shoots about like the lilja barrels. All 3 shooters are proficient with centerfires i would assume they can shoot a rimfire as well. This is my experience seeing lilja on 457s but its a small sample size. In reality they should be leaps and bounds better than a mass produced cz barrel. I know my 457 mtr is a freak of nature and they all dont shoot as mine does.

What group sizes at 100?

I have the Lothar on mine now, and honestly I think my old MTR barrel shot as good if not better. Unfortunately I sold that one.
 
Mine shoots well. Just seems to be really inconsistent. Have did a lot of ammo testing. Just can’t get it consistent.

My rear bag placement on my mtr is critical for me with cast in stock. If it torques rifle a litte shots will go wide. Try to check that while your shooting. Usually for me if a barrel will shoot some tight groups its prob not a barrel issue.
 
I’ve got three on my 457‘s one in 22 LR that shoots 1/4“ at 50 and 3/4” at 100 with RWS match , one in 17HMR and another in 17HM2 that both shoot lights out on sagerat.

Thats a little better than the ones i see shoot at 100 yards. Nice job !! they are a solid half at 50 for a average and average a hair over a inch at 100 yards.
