The Russians say an accidental fire set off some munitions and she sunk while attempting to be towed to a safe port at Sevastopol.

So we are to believe that a sailor had a little too much vodka and tossed a cigarette in the wrong place?

Or how about a couple of Neptune Missiles hit her in the sweet spot and broke her back.

Of course, we know that the mighty Russian Navy would never let that happen.

Just like the mighty Russian Army would never let a bunch of amateurs destroy countless numbers of their tanks, armored vehicles and trucks.

If the Captain didn’t go down with his ship, you can bet his next mailing address will be somewhere in Siberia.

Too Bad.

If we have learned anything about Russia is in my opinion they better be happy they have nukes because their fighting forces have been way over estimated by Americans.... What's happening in Ukraine is what would happen if the political parties in America would let our military fight without handcuffing them... They don't have an army that can hold a country , it just wasn't designed to do that but America does....

The Ukrainian army isn't really "a bunch of amateurs". They've been receiving NATO training since 2014 with significant changes in their command and control from their previous Russian way of doing things. And a lot of them are already battle hardened from the long conflict in eastern Ukraine. The Russians are seeing a more unified fighting force than what they've ever seen in their other recent campaigns. The Russians may have been thinking they were going to be dealing with "amateurs" too, but miscalculated.

Lookout for, the Bull'Chitty Propaganga "Feeds" from some News Outlets and their, "BrainWashing" tho, that, "Might" cause Problems from,. WITHIN ! Keep your, "Pitchforks", near, well Fed, cleaned and, Oiled !

I was using a little sarcasm.

Retired Four Star General Patraeus gave a very interesting analysis in what is wrong with the command structure in the Russian Military. Most of the conversation centered around the high number of senior officers being killed, three of whom Patraeus said he knew personally.

He contended that the Russian military, in particular the Army, lacks a efficient Non Commisioned Officer Corps. The top Commissioned officers have a very difficult time in getting orders carried out. Soldiers in the field, especially conscripts, have to be personally lead by men who they have faith in, or they end up doing nothing as confusion sets in.

This war has put a lot of Americans in a tight spot. Most of us know the history of this region, NATO’s responsibility in seemingly ignoring Russia’s concerns about allowing more Countries join the Alliance. But understanding Russia’s concerns does not mean we have to believe a megalomaniac like Putin has the right to simply invade and indiscriminately stand off and destroy an entire Country with his weaponry.

Ukraine has been a cesspool of corruption. Their leadership just might have more in common with some of the Despots we fought in WW-2 than they have with the likes of Churchill.

But at the moment, they seem to be the David in that famous biblical conflict.

But remember. Goliath brought a knife to a gunfight.

Russian war doctrine calls for the first use of battlefield nuclear weapons. Plans discovered after the fall of the Soviet Union were sobering. Plans called for a first strike at all NATO bases in Europe as the opening salvo. We had assumed that the use of nuclear weapons was a last resort as in our war planning. Russian attitudes about war fighting have not changed and they’re much less capable of projecting force beyond their borders than the old Soviet Union. That makes them even more dependent on a first nuclear strike. The Ukraine is an absurdly corrupt country and intimately intertwined with our own corrupt deep state. Our politicians are not enraged by Russians destroying the freedom of the Ukraine and the killing of people. No , our politicians are enraged at the killing of their corruption golden goose. The Ukraine has become one of the biggest money laundering operations for our deep state since the cia overthrew the Ukraine government in 2014 and installed our puppet neo nazis regime. The USA is the evil empire now. We and our puppet Nazis are the bad guys.

Thankfully, SOME People are smart enough, to SEE, the REAL,.. BS !

It was right after the ship finally sank that russia warned us to stop sending military aid or face consequences. Wonder if we will comply so the russians can roll over them finally?
Allegedly warned us, per the WaPo. Reuters cited the WaPo story but did not fully endorse its validity. With this administration, the procedure is "Spin first, deflect questions later. Mantra: 'It's Putin Inflation'. "

This old Soviet political joke comes to mind when thinking about what might ail their military - "We pretend to work, and they pretend to pay."
