It's a single action, so pulling a trigger will do nothing

You'd think that film would be rolling but I haven't heard any mention of investigators saying they're reviewing any recordings.

I've haven't shot too many SA Colt style revolvers but riddle me this, if you don't fully cock the hammer is the cylinder timed enough to have a primer strike if you release the hammer before full cock? Wouldn't the sear catch on the half cock notch of the hammer unless the trigger is pressed?

I guess according to Baldwin you can cock a SA pistol partway, keep your finger off the trigger, point the pistol at someone, let go of the hammer and if the gun go’s off and kills someone it’s not your faul.

The first thing my father taught me was treat every firearm as if it's loaded so never point a firearm at anything you don't intend to shoot. I don't know what's so hard about understanding that!

First of all , I don't believe much of anything coming out of that POS Mouth. U all ever hear the expression, "She went off half cocked . " ??? Anyway fifty years ago an old Colt SAA was a more common thing to see in a gun store or at the range. The Old School Peacemakers needed special handling attention to prevent such a bad happenstance. I was taught to load those old guns w a simple procedure to keep them safe. Pointed in a safe direction. Then At half cock the loading unloading gate is opened. Give it [the cylinder] a spin around to see the chambers .. Remove any cartridges live or spent. Then to load. insert one, skip one, Load Four. Bring hammer to rest on the empty cylinder chamber. Then & only then can you consider one of those revolvers safe to handle or carry. I hope this helps you understand even way back when; People knew how to be safe with firearms. Uncle Mike in Ct.

Baldwin should have been arrested and charged with the very least (Manslaughter) but being a hollywood VIP, anti-gun advocate and a total fruitcake, no one will charge him.
If any common man or woman, had done the very same thing with a gun and someone was killed and another injured, they would have been charged within minutes, if not days, for such.

Anytime I run into an anti gun nut, I calmly explain that I’ve owned and shot my guns for 50 years and they’ve NEVER HURT ANYBODY!!!
