Bc'z - as soon as I saw this stock I thought that's beautiful.... but it sure would look nice with some pearl white on upper facet of forearm and maybe tie in with a white stripe down the length of the stock that could end in a collar/crown at buttplate.

Low and behold I find this image sitting on Yahoo as click bait. I think this is pretty good example of what the next blue stock could be... Just a suggestion!

Your either tapping my phone , or reading my mind.
There's a plan for a sky blue fade over white pearl, but its subject to change.

There has been something else that I would love to see done. How about a throw back on classic 50's-60's Hot Rod paint job with Metallic Cherry.

You could run the top/backbone with a black metallic that transitioned into rich dark metallic cherry for the sides and belly. That transition line between the colors would look amazing if done as if it were turbulent water (think of rolling/boiling interaction in a Black & Tan). Could even play with a scallop/swoop at front of forearm similar to door coves in late 50's corvette.

I gotta be completely honest, I hate doing grafix and layouts. I'm just never completely happy with them.
That being said I'm working on a silhouette stock this week to replicate a

Please post the P-51 stock when finished. Your work is incredible.
Thanks

I was thinking of the transitional area more organic.... Not to diminish the skill and artistry, but I was thinking more along the lines of twirling a toothpick in the between the two paint areas while drinking a bourbon. Caveman drawing.

As a boy my dad started us out in balsa wood airplanes. Never had a chance to glue together one of the plastic models... apparently to easy. I've got all the Warbird reference books you could imagine!!!

Here’s what separates the men from the amateurs like me. Check out the reflection. Flat is FLAT. The body lines are perfect. The transitions are smooth as Zack’s new baby’s backside. AND you can’t get your bumper painted for what Bumpkin charges. I aint trying to sell anyone chit, it sells itself. Trust me, candy’s aren’t easy.
