I was finishing up a barrel yesterday at my shop when I heard the jet engines of the Blue Angels. Stepping out of the door to watch here comes a flight of 4 headed right overhead and low,an awesome sight. Then I looked exactly across the street 50 ft. away at a Hells Angels club house. I thought it was weird .

And I was dead inline with their flight path. The approach loop for the show area is around my shop .I think they are practicing again today ,I will try to get a picture of the anomaly .
And also that they didn't decide to turn and do an unlimited with you in the axis of the exhaust. Deafening.

For those of our members not really familiar with the "Angels" , "Bandido's" , "Chosen Few" , "Outlaws" , or any of the other 1%'er Clubs . Every one of those groups was formed by Veterans . Either from the Korean War , or Vietnam Veterans who came home to a society that turned their back on them and their service to this nation . I could get on a soap-box ; or go on a "Rant" about this subject , as I'm very familiar with it , but I won't . I am going to say that if these groups appear in your minds as negative , then ask yourself what part "YOU" had in helping to create them . As a decorated Nam Vet , I couldn't beg , borrow , or steal a job for almost five years , simply because I was a Nam Vet . Even though I was a Class "A" certified machinist . But the "Brothers" provided ways for me to feed my Wife ,and Son . And keep a roof over Our head . And how many more Iraqi and Afghanistan Vets have come home to more of the same . One of the reasons that Nam Vets get so "Pissy" when they see someone "Dissin" on these Vets .

B-17 visiting the Nampa ID Air Museum flew over my place about noon today. That's a lot of pistons singing! Gotta' love it!
On a side note, back in the mid 70s I was on a fire in SW Oregon when we had a retardant drop from a '17. Nuthin' but awesome!
