Wife made me take down Reloading Equipment

The room looks nice both ways. As neat as you keep your reloading stuff it should be easy to move and keep it organized.

I'm glad your stay in Arkansas left you with some good memories. Feel free to come back anytime you can. Thank You for your Service!

Though she is a Texas girl, we met in Arkansas and were married in North Little Rock. Took our wedding pics at the Old Mill. Arkansas will always be high on my list.

I can't see the Books on Reloading, Rifle Accuracy ???

Been down the road, I have my very own Man Cave!
In the Barn !

On the right side, almost the entire right side of that bookcase. At the top are my reloading notebooks. Then there is everything from The Rifle in America by Phil Sharpe to the Rule book to Rifle Accuracy Facts to PO Ackleys Manuals. I think most of my marching books are in the garage with the Lathe and Mill.

My wife ran me out of the house...so I built my own in the backyard. LOL!

Behind the skinning rack is a small outdoor cooking shack, grills, smokers, flattops, sink, etc. I divided the building into two rooms. The main room has a cheap poker table, fridge, and TV. The small buck on the wall was the first 8 point I killed many years ago when I was in my early teens. The other room is full of reloading stuff.

Now it's happy wife, happy husband, and happy life!

Nice shop!

My wife very much wants me to have a shop for the Mill, Lathe, reloading stuff, and 45 years of tools. She also likes it when I practice my trumpet not in the house as well.

She wants a bathroom in my shop as well as well as heat and cooling. And a wired Internet cable.

One shop won't due here in the Inland Empire. You need one shop for metal working, tools appropriate to those activities, reloading and toy storage and another shop for wood working and all the tools appropriate for those activities. Perhaps another shop for storing other peoples shite. Then you park your cars outside. That's how we roll in this part of the country. :)

OK,this is probably on the menu here in the not too distant future. I've been mobilizing the shop equipment for years, leading to decades. Got it figured out.

The loading room is a spare extra BR. Was the nursery off the 1st floor MB. It's small. Everything "should" condense/nest up very well in the back of a Uhaul.

In the meantime......

Am gonna start building,or heading toward a mobile, tailgate loading setup. Nothing that hasn't been done before by guys..... but,I don't have one. This is beneficial in many ways,so a big thumbs up for the thread's brainjog on the matter.

The change looks great! I liked the before pic, but reloaders are few and far between in the housing market. Too many buyers might have been “offended”!!
Put up some Biden posters! It might sell faster!?! o_O
I still suggest you come look in Kerrville. Lots of 2500 square foot houses for sale with 5+ acres for around $350K!
You too could have a view like this!...and lots of friendly Republicans around!
joshb, You being a former flatlander, how are you handling the hills. The closest thing to a hill here in LSD is the landfill in Sandtown. When I get homesick for the mountains I go down there and just look up. Ahhh! Nice view. Jeff

Hells` bells man that is my dream home. Dog ,cooler, reloading room and roof. All the essentials. The only thing missing is a boundary sign "NO FEMALES PAST THIS POINT". Jeff

My first assignment was flying C-130s at Little Rock AFB. Even though I grew up in Oregon, I learned how to fly fish for trout on the Little Red River. I also had my first fajitas at a place across the highway from McCain Mall in North Little Rock.

Did you know Barry Seal? :)

I know a lot of guys who tell these stories. A grown man getting run out of his own house by a woman who obviously prefers him to spend all his time in the barn. I mean, its reloading. It's not like he is rebuilding a Chevy in the living room.

Well, it is different. Back in Delaware/Pa., it’s hilly just like here. But back there, there’re bigger trees, more rain and more dirt! Kerrville has more rocks than dirt, can’t find a tree over 50 feet tall and it only seems to rain twice a year! Don’t get me wrong, tho. I love it! It’s all new and different! It’s like being on a permanent vacation!

You don't have much reason to go to the big house

Every guy I know wants a shop. The good wives do their best to help him get it. I really don't want to mess up the house with the lathe, mill, and reloading stuff. Especially when one of the HVAC systems is in the garage and you run the lathe too hard and make a lot of foul smelling smoke. A shop is better.......

I get what you are saying, but reloading in the house is not a lathe. I reload on a portable bench from Midway in my den.
