Check out Erik Cortina's 1.3" 1000yd 5-shot group!

Great shooting but I have a feeling the CPS is only a very small piece of the puzzle...

So what are you saying? The shooter, the gunsmith, the bullet maker , the barrel maker, Eric's wind coach had nothing to do with it was his primer seater? Cause that is what it sounds like.

Gentlemen... for the love of... please...
In no way, shape, or form was that what I was saying, implying, or even lightly inferring. I was simply excited to share one of our customers experiences whom just recently took possession of the tool, and gets a group like that on video.

If you want to know what Erik thinks of the CPS, and whether he thinks it helped... ask him. I haven't. I just thought this was a stellar video by a great F-class shooter that is using our product. I understand this is the internet, and a forum... but could we not get all animalistic and combative, just once? If not, then infer what you please, and I'll simply ignore it.

Also... Erik did not claim smallest ever. He claimed smallest on video.

Impressive accomplishment with all the factors that had to line up right to make it happen.

284 Wheeler... got specs for this wildcat? What bullet was Erik loading when he shot this?

"Wilson’s world record-setting 5-shot group measured 1.068 inches or, in angular terms, a stunning 0.102 minutes of angle (MOA). He even managed to land all five rounds in the center X-ring for a perfect score. (The previous 5-shot, light gun IBS record, set in 2007, measured 1.397 inches.)"
this is what happens when you claim "smallest ever" with no description of the type of shooting. it is NOT the smallest 1000 yard group in competition.
congrats to erik
I would never attribute it to the primer seater...never

The title of the video says "Smallest 1000 yard group ever caught on camera" I don't see anything about competition

Going to be a rough quarantine period. Rather take that anxiety out on fellow shooters here, than on the wife and kids. :D

Aero, glad you made it a point to bring that to the attention of the guy who seems to enjoy pissing on our fellow shooters cheerios. Absolutely amazing Eric, I could feel your excitement, thank you for sharing. That would be one hellofva goal to try and beat at Williamsport, 2.6 or under for ten shots, talk about raising the bar! Thanks for all that you contribute to our sport.

if you look at the PICTURE...
it only says "smallest 1000 yard group..." IN THE POST ON THE SCREEN.
that is just not true....
and the poster does nothing to correct the impression of the PICTURE.
you have a good day, erik clearly did.

It's only as difficult as people make it. Nothing needs to be taken out on anyone. :)

Some people really enjoy ripping other people down, and arguing over semantics... rather than propping people up and perpetuating truth. I partake in the latter as much as I can, and try to avoid the former as much as possible. This is a time for togetherness, happiness, and enjoyment. Those that are not able to attend their jobs, it may be tough financially... but its also a blessing to be able to spend so much time with your families in a way that is socially accepted and encouraged right now. The tougher things get, the more important it is to conduct ourselves honorably and respect others thoroughly.

The "..." in the title of the video tells me that the entire title is truncated and could not be displayed in its entirety (due to the reduced size). Sometimes you can hover over the truncated title... to view the full title text - other times you just have to play the video to see the full title.

Great shooting Erik!
