I honestly cancelled my cable television in 2009 and haven't missed it. I watch everything I care to watch on the internet. I went to my sisters this past Thanksgiving and was amazed at how little there is that is interesting on cable vision.I do not understand the big fear that everyone has about the corona virus. Is it the absolute worst thing ever to come down the pike ? I had the flu this year which took almost three weeks before I shook it and I'm thinking it was the same old stuff that's been around year after year. No change in the Dow or school closings, no run on TP so why are we seeing this madness now ? I for one am feeling abused by the incessant bombardment of negative news from the media. Is the TV really worth it anymore ? Probably not but for a few channels.
Had a lady freaking out about all the meat being sold out at the grocery stores last night while we were standing in line..I said are you a gun owner and she kinda turned her nose up and said no.. I said well I am and I have plenty of deer around my house if things get real bad.She looked at me like I just grabbed her Toilet paper outta of her hand.
Scored 2 packages of toilet paper yesterday at Dollar General. I am now ready for the Corona Virus, Zombie Apocalypse, The Walking Dead or any other apocalyptic situation that may arise. Bring it on!!
I tried a toilet brush. It tickled so I went back to paper.
Canceled mine years ago. I have an antenna for local stations, a Roku, and have Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. More to watch and whenever I want it. I don't miss anything I want to see and wouldn't go back to cable if it were free. Not to mention saving over $100 a month.I honestly cancelled my cable television in 2009 and haven't missed it. I wouldn't want to shake their hands!I've been watching the Western Channel. Lot's of great old movies! One thing I noticed and wondered about......I don't see any bulges in their saddle bags that would be toilet paper. I wonder.....what did the Real men of the old West use?
Cactus?
Handful of sand?
Tumbleweed?
