I do not understand the big fear that everyone has about the corona virus. Is it the absolute worst thing ever to come down the pike ? I had the flu this year which took almost three weeks before I shook it and I'm thinking it was the same old stuff that's been around year after year. No change in the Dow or school closings, no run on TP so why are we seeing this madness now ? I for one am feeling abused by the incessant bombardment of negative news from the media. Is the TV really worth it anymore ? Probably not but for a few channels.
I honestly cancelled my cable television in 2009 and haven't missed it. I watch everything I care to watch on the internet. I went to my sisters this past Thanksgiving and was amazed at how little there is that is interesting on cable vision.

I've been watching the Western Channel. Lot's of great old movies! One thing I noticed and wondered about......I don't see any bulges in their saddle bags that would be toilet paper. I wonder.....what did the Real men of the old West use?
Cactus?
Handful of sand?
Tumbleweed?

Had a lady freaking out about all the meat being sold out at the grocery stores last night while we were standing in line..I said are you a gun owner and she kinda turned her nose up and said no.. I said well I am and I have plenty of deer around my house if things get real bad.She looked at me like I just grabbed her Toilet paper outta of her hand.

You just made a convert... She is having her husband go buy one..

Scored 2 packages of toilet paper yesterday at Dollar General. I am now ready for the Corona Virus, Zombie Apocalypse, The Walking Dead or any other apocalyptic situation that may arise. Bring it on!!

Pray no one gets diarrhea, 2 packs would be gone in a flush.

Canceled mine years ago. I have an antenna for local stations, a Roku, and have Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. More to watch and whenever I want it. I don't miss anything I want to see and wouldn't go back to cable if it were free. Not to mention saving over $100 a month.

I wouldn't want to shake their hands!

The virus fear has struck my wife. Before the outbreak our home was well stocked with essentials and food, as always. Last night my son stops over to grab his shotgun. He and his wife were doing their bye weekly shopping at a local grocery store. There were people stealing goods from the on line sales shopping carts parked at the stores entrance. Some fellow told my daughter in law that she was buying to much food. Upon hearing this, my wife dragged me out of the house early this morning to visit my local meat market and bakery and then deliver food to both my sons. Grandpa day care will open again next week as school is now canceled. Guess summer shooting lessons will start early this year. My daughter in law tells she feels safer because her father in law is such a good pistol shot. Thank you snow flakes and liberal bed wetters for disturbing my life. My UP land buying mission is now on hold until the market recovers. Guess the old hippie live and let live philosophy has died. If I am going to die from this virus, I hope it is with my boots on at the gun range.
