600 Yard IBS Results

the weekend was really fun "Gnarly" at times but fun I like those weekends... congratulations to those winners and shooters that "Dug in" and found there way through.. this was my first sanctioned 600 yard bench rest match and the excitement of the unknown will bring me back again, my wheels are already turning on what I would and will do different to process decisions and why on the fly. thanks to those that prepared and Hosted this event not ever a easy task and a extended thanks too the pit crews and scoring shack for the grind you where committed to managing thanks.

Home sweet home for me now, to bad I told them I would work tomorrow dammit!

Congratulations Jason, Scotty, and Chris. I enjoyed the match despite the ridiculous weather and was happy to have met a few new people and see others once again.

Here's a funny story about Jason for everyone. I believe it was around 2015 he came out to deep creek and shot extremely well when we got to know him. 2016 he rides down to the 1000 nationals with Richard and myself. So on the way home we stop by @birdog "dasher dome" even though Randy had to work. Anyway, junebug wanted us to sign his zebra painted stock so he could clear the signatures in there. Richard went first, then myself and Jason didn't feel he was "worthy". But I told him he would win a national or 2 or 3 one day, so he signed his name. I think I told him multiple times I felt he would win at least one. The kid is so modest, I don't think he ever believed me, but I knew from the first time I shot with him.

You guys will really get a kick out of this, I'm going to attach a screenshot of a couple text exchanges. I got a pretty big laugh when I opened my phone to send him another congratulations on my way home!

Congratulations again champ!

Tom

Yes, I had short notice that ya'll were stopping by and could not get off from the pharmacy.
I told Martha, Shayne, Junebug to get plenty of pics. Tom had just won the 1000 yd Nationals in south Georgia and had a truck load of wood with them.
I still am not over having to work that day.

I actually met Jason later at the 2017 Nationals in Memphis.

Jason Wolf, Tom Mousel, & King Richard Schatz at Dasher DOME.
Tom had just won the 1,000 IBS Nationals in south Georgia and
they stopped by the DOME on the return home.

Yes there are Chris!

Not only that but 22 points separate Jason's "1" from second places "2" on the score side of it. Wow what a complete ass kicking Jason! And that's even with Bart scoring a 97 on one target.:D

That’s a 97 with 5Xs! Group was a flat 2.5 for 10 shots!

Donavan says the group is bigger than 2.5! Probably is closer to 3.5. Used Ballistic-X to measure it I probably screwed that up.
