Berger packaging

Damn, you mad bro? Lol
Nah I'm disgusted.
6 months ago it was where's all the bergers?
Now that bullets are becoming available were going to complain about packaging?

Maybe folks should be thankful they've even got bullets. And grateful they have the ability to shoot them.
I bet the folks down under would be happy to shoot them and not complain about packaging.
What's really ironic is bergers are now owned by the same company making Lapua brass.

I'm ready to get back to creedmoor bashing.

The old man winter has a different effect on you than the usual “what if” type posters lol

Go back to painting peace signs on that bus. Do some door edge leading or something. I think im the only dude around here that knows how to do that. I used a whole muffin pan of lead on an old truck that got the doors opened into a wall or something every day for 40 something years it looked like. Gotta keep them paddles smoking man.

It's a good thing you got out of cars

Reading on another thread where in Zimbabwe, people were taking a professional hunter test and their factory ammo was $20.00 a round and they needed twenty rounds. Practicing for the test could get costly. Reloading was impossible because of import restrictions so no components.

Is it me or does every post on here become a pissing match oh and let's see who is the know it all!!
I'm a dumb A$$ but years ago I built a 1k range and actually live on it. I have been testing for a verry long time. I'm still a dumb A$$ .
I was mearly hoping to get them to think about going back to what had worked for a long time. Oh I'm not a liberal or socialist so I do not feel compelled to share what I know for free.

Not taking sides here but depending on the issue, bitching about something on a forum is more than likely going to get the OP hammered. It's sort of a national sport on the web. Aside that, I found that an email to the offending party can at least get a justification for their actions.

How much does it take to damage a bullet? Although my 500ct of 180 hybrids don’t have the tape around them, they don’t move around much in the box. I do hear them moving but can’t imagine they are damaged.
Dropping one on the floor i can see, especially a hard surface

I don't really care what it's called I'll bet they are aware as long as y'all keep it at the top!!
I've done my part trying to help them keep the quality they had.:)

Capt.Dan's answer to all of it,,,I'm glad to be alive,I'm glad I get to shoot some,I'm glad Phideoux don't mind hang out with me,I'm glad that I know a few like minded people even though
they get upset sometimes, and I'm glad that I live in the U.S.A. where all this is possible,,with that said, everyone take a happy pill and wash it down with a shot of good tequila, then we
can get back to that Creedmoor thing..

Somewhere is heard that the bullets are made in Phoenix and packaged in Missouri. If that is true - makes me wonder about that shipping method.

This is true. Berger bullets are made in Mesa, AZ, and shipped to Sedalia, MO where they are packaged. They’re shipped in large plastic totes, well sealed in Mesa, and palletized for the truck ride to MO. Once there, they’re packaged into small or bulk boxes for labeling and shipment around the world. They’re packaged by hand, and by weight, which is pretty much the same system used by virtually all of the major bullet makers. Most of the packages are completed in such a way as to preclude their contents from moving around too much in transit. Sierra does this by having an incredibly diverse range of boxes, each specifically sized to hold one hundred bullets (or 50, as the case may be) in a fairly tight fashion. This leads to the need to have a huge SKU of boxes for such a full range of bullets. Berger has taken the approach of a smaller number of more standard boxes that closely approximate the fit of the product, but takes the added step to include some plastic foam material folded into the box to ensure a very tight fit, and again, keep the product from moving in shipment. Lapua takes a similar approach in both bullets and cases, but you get the idea.

you want to complain about packaging, wait till you get something from me.1 roll of tape for a small box and there's no telling what's in the darn thing,,SURPRISE,,:eek::eek::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

So again, you fail to answer and give examples for someone truly asking but instead you just ramble
I colored bullets and shot them at 1000. The colored ones with the dings go out alot of times. There is a difference in what an FClass guy calls a flier and what i call one. I am shooting for group and when I have 9 in 3 inches and the colored one goes out, to me its a flier. I now check every bullet for the ding on the back end on the corner of the boatail. There also was a write up, many years ago in Precision shooting.

I couldn't answer becuase I was in Phila for wifes Leukemia treatmemt. I left at 4 this morning and just got back a little while ago. Matt
