Florida IBS 600 yard Championship 2019

Even tough the main gate is locked overnight, I would not leave equipment out in the open. Sorry to say, Florida is not Montana. Maybe a few with campers would let you store equipment overnight? Otherwise no secure place to leave $5K to $7K worth of gear. Steve

I made will bring my camper
I will be happy to store it
We for sure will have other options
But for the favor shut the door when yo come to Florida I have had enough cold

Over 80 degrees forecast for Wednesday. Thursday is a bit of rain but still 70*. Then after that front, the high drops into the mid to higher 60's. At least it is dry Friday through Sunday.

Prizes are voluminous. Each competitor will now be eligible to get at least one prize and in some cases, more than one. The sponsors of our sport sure are wonderful. Some of those shooting will leave with more value than the entire experience cost. Think you can still sign-up until sometime Friday. After that I think the computer rosters will be done and set for programming the relays and the shoot.

Just because I opened a box with 50 hats in it does not mean everyone will get a NF scope. ;) We have received many donations for our first 2 day IBS match. Making it the Florida Championship did draw a few more sponsors than I thought. Still waiting on a donation from Berger / Lapua. Hope it comes this week. Yes, registration will close at 5:00 PM Friday. Phone or email confirmations still accepted. Steve

Be careful what you ask for. During the winter months we get lots of wind. Very very few days of nice conditions. You will also be shooting over standing water, making the mirage very tough to shoot in. Last Saturdays gong match was a very humbling experiance for almost all shooters. Doug

I got the cover last night will take the to the range Thursday
We are going to bring my transportation
Also
We are picking up race parts in Lakeland
Racers are shooters friends

Watched Roy Hunter practice today. Gave him myTarget Vision camera and tablet. I had my cell phone to kind of sneak in a peek now and then.

Know he had two sub 1" groups. He is tuned for Bart but conditions were near perfect today. Based on past history, Manatee rules with wind and mirage to even out the field. Bart knows. We shall start to see sometime Saturday.
