F Class target question Part Deux

I've shot both...it's equally easy to drop a point on either one. The wider rings on the 5V may show up better in heavy mirage for those that like to hold off. I like the decimal target.

The DCRA ICFRA targets are pretty neat, no excuses for getting the center crooked.

Personally if I'm in the pits I prefer the X targets. The lines on the V targets are a PITA to repair and keep straight with split pasters. (I'm pretty fanatical about preserving the outside of the lines.)

If you shoot a 9, you received 90% (9/10ths) of the possible score. But if you Shoot a 4, you receive only 80% of the possible score. (4/5ths) . I like X target for my tender ego.

In my experience the 10X target gets messy sooner in heavy mirage, probably in part because there is too much 'stuff' between the rings ie numbers on both sides right where you are trying to hold. The X/10/9 ring turns to one big grey blob sooner. Not that the 5V lasts a whole lot longer. Ya know it's bad when you have to just dial an offset and use the 3 ring line as your 'center hold'...
