TNT is a Speer bullet, if memory serves. It should, I've got thousands of 'em.

I use their 50 gr Varminators. Great bullet. Explosive and accurate! Consistently under 1/2 inch groups. Primarily used Varget but iam trying Benchmark right now.

IMR 4064 has done well in the 22-250, with 40 - 55 grained bullets.

Never shot Barnes bullets but plenty to 50 and 55 grain Nosler BT's and Sierras. There are a number of powders that worked well for me, namely Varget, IMR 4064 and H4895.

Believe or not the best groups I ever shot with the 22 250 was with IMR 4350 and 50 Noslers in a 14" twist Rem 700 Varminter however the velocity was limited to about 3,500 f/s with this powder. Nosler does have load data published for this powder in the 22 250.

The 22 250 is a great cartridge for long range varmint hunting. Since most of my shots are in the 250 yards and under category these days I use the 223 Rem which handles 95% of all my varmint and predator situations. Also the barrels on these last at least twice as long at the 22 250.

AR Comp, new powder to me shoots the 50's at 3800+ into very tiny groups!

55's is where the 22/250 really shines, Varget will put the 55's right at 3800 or a tad above shooting bug holes in my Rem 700 factory barrels.

Lots of powders really work very, very well in the 22/250 with the 52-55g weights, N140 really shines, so does IMR 4064, H4895, Big game, and Benchmark with the 50g is 3800 shooting tiny groups.

No one ever shoots it much anymore, but IMR 4320 is awesome in the 22/250, very accurate and very fast.

Been using IMR 4350 for over 35 years in my Ruger 77V 22-250. Consistently in the 1/2 moa with Nosler 55 gr BTs. Same accuracy in two other 700 Remingtons. Slower, like K22 said, but I'm way over 5,000 rounds. Should try a better scope than the old Redfield 3x9 TV tube, ... need to tighten things up!

I just bought a Kelbly 22-250. It has a 1-12tw barrel so I'm probably going to try the 53gr Vmax first but the 55gr Vmax will be a close second on my list of bullets to use. I've heard good things from guys using RL17 with the lighter to mid weight bullets in the 22-250 and with regard to velocity, RL17 looks to be one of the best powders. Time will tell though.

I use a 52 grain Sierra in mine. 8208 works for me. But I suspect your rifle will let you know what it likes.. Me? I'd research the published load data first..

Hard to beat Varget for 40-55grn bullets in a 22-250.

H414 is super fast and accurate in my 8"twist bbl shooting any 55gr bullet.

If you want very high speeds use either Win. 760 or H414. Some barrels shoot those powders very well. However, IMR 4895 and or Varget will get you SUPERB accuracy and high velocity too! With a 50gr bullet, somewhere between 36.0 and 37.0 grs of either IMR 4895 or Varget will give you everything you're asking..

H380 was made for the 22-250. I just got back from my first Varmint trip of the season. My 48 year old Ruger M77 was putting on a spectacular Aero display of Sage Rats. H380 behind 52 gr Berger Flat Base out of a Shilen barrel. I took 4 guns with me but this one was the most fun this time. Just one antique to another!

H380 is a great powder for the .22-250. But it has one problem, it is temperature sensitive. I used it in my first .22-250 and thought it was great only to find that in the fall when temps dropped my POI kept changing. Since then I've moved on to Varget and avoided the problem.
