Did Lapua stop making 6mm BR brass?

Just got my new 6mm Dasher from Speedy, and haven't been able to find anyone with LAPUA 6mm BR brass in stock. Bullets.com has a notice on their website that says item has been discontinued and is no longer for sale.

Speedy sold me a handfull to get me started but need more. Have tried Brownells
Midway
Midsouth
Mile high
Bullets.com
Bullet Central
Bruno's
Creedmore
Champion shooters supply
Grafs
Euro Optic
Nobody's got'em in stock....

Haven't had good luck with Norma brass in the past, but may have to go that route out of desperation if I can't find any Lapua soon.

They will be in early next year. They haven't discontinued them. It's just most people don't have them in stock and people right now are in panic mode.

I would think the 6BR is one of their best sellers.I will be patient and see what happens in the spring.

Remember they’re changing over with their distributor here. Forum member Kevin Thomas fills us in about it in a thread that link will take you to. Might be awhile yet before new operations get set up & shipping.

Why Bullets.com’s spreading unsubstantiated rumor is beyond me.

I just bought 300 pcs from someone on this site. You gotta watch what people have for sale.

thats weird.... why would a shooting company say ah get rid of 6BR lapua brass..?

I too would think itd be a marketable product on the shelves to have. Maybe we are the market though, and outside the forum 6BR aint popular haha. Shiraz knows whats best for his business Im sure, hes a smart guy.

Bullets.com is in with Norma 6mm Dasher.
Most Long Range F-Class shooters are going to Dasher. There is No Fire Forming BR Brass ?

Possible Answer to His Not Selling it any Longer ?

Well, from what I read many shooters are now going from 6 Dasher to 6 BRAI. I'm not a competitive shooter and love my Dashers.

From what I am understanding and not misinformed, Lapua and Berger will be handling the sales and distribution of their brass and bullets from their new distribution center in Missouri the first of the year. They have allowed most all depletion of brass through the usual distributors. With a new container of brass on the way, now all major distributors ( Grafs, Midway, Bullets.com, Midsouth, Bruno's ) etc will have to purchase through the local distribution center and thus will be paying a higher wholesale rate which will be passed along to the regular consumers.

It will be interesting to see if and or how much the price increase will be next year with Berger as well.

It occurs to me that with the decrease in corporate tax rates prices will decrease rather than increase.

Not sure the correlation will work along side of common sense. Remember lead prices went up and car batteries prices went up along with the lead prices. Now lead prices are back down car batteries prices have remained the same. It appears to me bullet prices are following the same rising footsteps.

The average corporate tax rate paid before the bill was 21%, and most of the majors pay 0%. Can't see much dribbling down there.
My bad. Did not take into consideration that Lapua is not manufactured in the USA. The corporate tax rate here was just lowered from 35% to 21%.
