Remington 700 Action with coned bolt

I just received a Rem 700 SA with cone bolt---------

Bolt is not OEM Remington.
Pictured is a PT&G coned bolt w/ mini 16 extractor & PT&G threaded handle w/ knurled round knob.

My favorite and most used varmint guns have Stiller coned bolts and are single shots. A follow up shot goes in as quickly as you can work the bolt.

Just curious, why doesn't it work well with a repeater? I have several coned bolt repeaters and they seem to work quite well. One of them will feed empty cases from the mag. But none of them are Remingtons.
