Joe if you looked in the barrel you wouldn't say that it has chunks of the lands missing... Jim

Joe knowing you have a good shooting 300 WSM, did you try it in any of the matches? I see they were pretty tough to beat in those conditions.

Jim I wouldn't want chunks of of the grooves, that would really kill it. Had one with a chunk out of the lands it shot good some days but not every time. When I discovered it, it was taken off.

Roger I had my HG. in 300 WSM the first day it shot 11" of vertical so I thought why am I lugging this to the line and just shot my LG. I think my biggest problem was the way I was going from the birds to the target. Plus the wind was as bad as Williamsport and I don't like holding like you, but four targets I knew I should have.

I have seen them look terrible and shoot world record level. Good steel makes up for a lot.

Alex It would be fun if we shot 5 shots in one match, then 10 in another the same day! But I don't think we will ever see Williamsport going IBS.

The guys and Girls from PA. were just use to shooting in that kind of wind.

This brings up a good question. Why are there no IBS 1000 yard ranges in PA? Harry Jones might be on the trip list next year

Sounds like Harry Jones is a hell of a sweet range! Id love to get there some day. Maybe next time they get the nats I'll tag along.

Alex, you may not think so as close the benches are, it gets your attention when your gun is pushed clear of the scoring rings . Now it is a good place to check your NF. comp....... Jim

I would be okay with it, probably get grief but Two LG on Saturday and Two HG Sunday.. Shoot off for agg or something.. Still host the World Open in July and a National's once in a while in September.. Maybe add another date for a extra Shooting School with the extra time..

James you sound like Matt, he always worry's about the guy next to him with a boomer with a brake.
That's why they give you 15 min. to shoot wait! ha ha

Alex The IBS needs Williamsport! Without us they would have had less than a 100 shooters, that's why we should all just stick together.
